A Street Samurai...

...is a standard Shadowrun character that can range from an advanced hooligan to a para military assassin.
Basically, that character is an armed person in a dark future living in arms.

Usually, the Street Samurai is part of a runner team and usually there is more than one Samurai in a team. Sometimes, so, there is time for a follow up run with one player only and the game master alone.

Like that one CEO that gave the order, but whom's villa was not in that gated community. That has a fixed daily schedule and a well organised time table, who knows days in advance where he will eat at what time with whom. All a good hacker can copy for a favor.

That body will have protection. An SUV like vehicle armored to withstand explosives coming in bomb or projectile form after him, a team of guards in body armor able to return fire and a need to have short walks in public only. He'll like cover, concret from garages and halls, a few steps only from vehicle to doors and thick save glass to look down to the moggles during a meeting.

That's when the shield stays at home.

That's when one of these come in play:

Short barrel full automatic guns like a Glock or a Mini Uzi with about 30 rounds or up to a hundred in a drum mag that hickok45 may play with legally somewhere in the beautiful south, in the land of the free.

And that is the way to use them:

Ghost in the Shell is the best of all Cyberpunk movies and in one chapter of the story an assassin carries an Uzi like gun attached to a short belt below a trench coat using high speed ammunition.

In a Shadow run adventure I would imagine the daily habits of the target and pass it to my mate playing the Street Samurai in pretty much the same form as the hacker in the Shadowrun world would have provided, asking him which appointment strikes his interest most.

Dinner time is a good time. The target is hungry and in most likely a good mute looking forward to a four star dinner. The more exclusive a restaurant the less likely the body guards will be allowed to show off their protection skills and the ways will be longer, beside them being busy posing and presenting their Street Samurai outfits to the likely spectators. At some point all dogs turn like their owners...

Jax Tellers strategy in Sons of Anarchy might not cut it, because homeless in a dysantrop dark future will be kept away from the bling bling shiny spots. Except, the Con Forces securing the Real Estate are on the list, too, and reloading to another drum mag is no problem.

Using the appropriate ammo with higher penetration power will force a dice test against your characters strength and weapon handling skills, due to the higher recoil and it is a dark future so they'll kick him hard like a dragon's spell.
But on burst, coming around a corner and wearing a suite under the bullet proof cover that was turned into a homeless guy's blanket by an aura spell from a magician, the 25 meters from the corner across three Real Estate Guards to spray the target and his six Street Samurais with super strengthened plastic super sonic bullets on their 5 Meters walk between car door and entrance is not even a challenge for an experienced Street Samurai up for bad boy blood in a way to dirty Sprawl. Especially, if by using the correct angle the projectiles send by the first burst will hit straight through the guards into the actual target pack after a grenade from a catapult did it's bloody magic. Another corner away, past a sprint to have an ensuring and confident direct burst impact in the target's corps on the ground, and 50 more meters walking away to hide from the Real Estate forces back up in plane sight showing off the designer sute, the bike placed the day before will carry the character out of the hot zone... If the cold blood dice test sais sweet and easy. Possible stops using more rounds, grenades and one or two improvised detours to blend into the moggles and leaving into another part of the Sprawl will fill the table top game evening.

If the opposite is the case and the target is so shit scared already that the underground parking lot will be stressed, the tin needs to be opened.

Possibly, by an explosive device like an IRA commando used in the Hollywood movie "Patriot Games" or your character is a master of social engineering and a guard will lower the window to scare the punk cleaning the window away opening a drop zone for three bundled grenades and after the puff some more rounds to make sure and a clear statement that someone did not get the point of  "don't fuck with us!".

Than the information from the time table would need more investigation and of course all for a sudden the team might be back in to check possible hit spots and exit routes and their cover ups along with destractions from all red or all green junctions to booms loud to spraying nails.

This being said, a motorcycle and a red traffic light and good luck might do, too. Good luck needs preparation and preparation comes in planning, training and experience.

The rest would be about finding the right mixture of the skills and abilities of the Character sheet, relative to the liklyhood of the area having Police like forces or concerned citizens around intervening and considering that there is always a bit of chance represented by throwing dices to make an educated guess on the perfect striking point and tactics.

Today, only Hollywood is close, but no Computer game yet comes to anything being as close as pen and paper games to Hollywood, but interactive and imagining the dark future options in a society past falling, but right in the crash feeling and living the impact.

So, Kartells, Rockers, Mafia and the Corrupt. Do you want to fuck with us? Than keep pushing to have us all fall. We see each of us in the impact killing to eat.
