In the training session part the guy keeps talking about how hard it is to train. All soldier boys I met, never said that. We collapsed off a machine. Puked on runns. Fell and stood up again on runs. Have been sweating with gun fire above the heads. Played high pase Streetball, which is Basketball on one court clearing the ball to score ready by getting the ball over the 3 point line, in a 35 degree celsius standing air valley with only 5 liters of water each in the rucksack. But nobody ever said it was hard.
We said, I am done, I am dying, I am fucked, I can't breath ... I need to rest.
...and the reason is simple: We all did what we liked.
The CIA that tricked most recruits either directly or by a war into service of especially Big Red One, did not understand that at one point the soldiers would try waterboarding for the fun of it. During the Korean War, the French Legionaires as close to Big Red One as it gets, would play the kukuck game. They drank a shot, loaded a round into the gun and went down into the cellar. Some did die. Some die during training, but noone would load his biosystem with toxic substances to have the impression of better results knowing the side effects of what you propose as a lifestyle. We all gonna die. Maybe not today, but we will and can predict it.
Come to our side. Do what you like. There is time to rest, we have several Viruses around, there is time for training, time for stretching, time for heavy lifting, time for endurance, but you need to be honest about what you feel and what you like to die at another day.
