The marketing departments are usually way better than the acutal IT guys and even good system architects are rare while excellent don't exist having no time for the corporate bitching session that is needed to get the job, but kills the excellence on the way.
E.g. The German Railway. Apperantely they moved all software into the Microsoft and Amazone cloud and had shut down the server farm. I assume they sold the server farm to a any of both, not moving an inch any bit.
There is no way that the SAP guys sold them a safe ticket system, that the electronic railway switch system is either stone age working on telephone communication or centralized laim shit that needs regular telephone work anyway.
Why I do believe...
"Wow. You have three doctor titles. That is a lot of studying. No. I am don't even have Abitur. Would you restart the Computer, please. Ahm, on the bottem left, click on the icon and than look for restart. Ok. There is only shut down and if you click...ok....great there it is, it was kinda hidding...haha...ok...yes....blablabla....it is working again? Great...."
...because this is no joke talking to someone with three Phts assuming appropriate brain levels that uses a Computer daily as his main tool and someone close to him at University told the railway how to use computers in the railway.
When the tracert and ping still gave correct times someone managed to cartographe the internet using a trace route software that showed the pings route on also a map by pinging main servers such as Google, companies knowing for having main server farms such as IBM, that also uses subdivision codes in the URL, and smaller companies such as Oracle or GE to find out that the entire internet runs over about ten knots only.
All these knots are main server farms of main CIA connected IBM split off companies. You can be sure that someone in Langely might know your next vacatoin trip and I am sure they are creepy enough to stalk you, if they are just up for it.
The only thing meaner than blowing them up by e.g. the Russians would be to add code to screw up internet traffic. Some might have heard that flight tickets are cheaper by using a VPN. It needs two lines of code and a small txt file to have everyone in Nanterre shop DELL servers for ten bugs, but overcharge everyone on the Hamptons for an LV bag by 300%, or have the train from Munich stop in Paris Nord instead of Berlin.
....I am not sure, if you understand what you might have triggerd on the Maidan, Think Tanks....just saying....
