Respect depends on the coltoural background and only The Germans, Confeds and Buren insist that respect has to be earned by sliming and ass licking your way up onto levels of respect that are naturaly givin in most other coltoures. Everywhere else you can loos respect and earn in back over time.
The difference between trust and respect is also unknown in only these areas about to find themselves in either a classic main World War or hopefully in an underground campaigne. The first just don't care about the weak and innocent, the letter might feel to have too little experiance facing a weak enemy and therefore order their military instead of using other means.
Trust is earned over reliable actions according to what was said....in my turff. Coming for you as we speak.

PS: Me? If they go full scale war they will come to pick me up and I go all nuclear, if they go underground at some point those units of the Wests Secret Service that don't pay me will be killed in action and I will find a fiar pay job.
