All of that is actually the second wave in Germany after a famous company named Pixel Park went out of business promissing to supply every German business from Müncher Rück to the news shop around the corner with a website that will have you retire as a millionair.
Obviously, that did not happen.
A website can be many things. From a strange blogg written by a freak looking for trouble being pissed off by being turned into a looser unable to get rid of bad company allaround by arguments to the center of a major internationally operating company for all computer related business aspects from login in from within the office, on business trips to communication with clients and actually taking orders using several server farms world wide, the stretch is wide.
The consultants here try to sell more of a webshop or online flyer, but it is too close to fishing. Someone of the freeloading Germans all around me recently forced me into a reeducation program to become an e-Commerce Professional and I am still not sure what the real aim was considering my online shopping behaviour. The questions asked indirectly referred to e.g. getting down returns in the online fashion industry and "you did not understand fashion shoppers" was obviously no correct answer, like "I won't."
And in court during an Anti-Trust hearing Amazon will state they are like a Mall, while there is no Mall in the Mall ever, is there? But I shop targeted: Trousers. Limit? Size. Levis 501 or Leather. Order. Spartan for life! Meaning I can't tell you about Malls realy except the exit. I remember the exit and the Burger spot, if someone social engeneers me into a Mall.
Noone with an established business will turn client of these new consultants. On all levels the sales ways are clear especially in a recessive market situation and even during the boom new clients usualy come by looking for you. In Europe that is trade show business or recomondations from partners.
Our markets are too have little competition to have a major mid-size company turn new customer by call center activity or in any other way than the boss understanding demand and sending someone off to look for a company being able to satisfy the damand. The rest is bogous bullshit to keep someone entertained.
Even the little one man or woman accountant having the news shop as a client will either go Amazon or the news shop for new printer cartridges, Mercedes-Benz won't leave Bosch and there is pretty much nothing in between beside the kitchen shop and Ikea that are found by yellow pages or google maps these days.
This system of fake business and ever more fake competation that also exploids the very few very gifted within is failing....get ready...Secret Services. Your Holcaust money turns paper and you own it all from Schindlers factories to my music.
