can not be a wide classic attack along the very frontline, is a true statement. The problem for Ukraine, and with Ukraine falling instead of holding for all terretory west, is that it does not need a first world war style attack in which no weapons existed to cut far behind the actual frontline the needed facilities down that kept the frontline in tact.
There are several ways how to cut, like using a tunnel on a battleground, down all needed logistic spots for a long frontline.
Bombing by long range missiles the heads of logistics or comando in their offices.
Visting them when they are at home with their families with a gun.
Only those that understand the security level of the needed infrastructure of all levels can predict which scenario is likely or as unlikely as using millions of shells to attack over a thousand kilomter long frontline.
I cannot.
