This guy is IMHO the most dangerous or most important coach in the European School of Bodybuilding that appears to differ from the U.S. American by e.g. Americans having regular intensive massage sessions and most likley also a lot by the substances used.

All he sais on sleep and regeneration is very true and I totally agree, yet the conclusions are very different. They also use medication to alter the regeneration of the body and try targeted regeneration of certen muscle groups by split training.
That's were the leg day skipping jokes come from.
I state in opposite to the Bodybuilding fraction of iron moving freaks, that they never let the human bio system realy rest.
This is by using always medications that alter the biosystem, by still stressing resting muscles when doing split training and putting a trainings plan schedule over body feedback.
The letter is a good starting point to understand the difference in philosphy. A no medication ever trained body will give feedback and all training this way will rest when they are tyred even so this means to skip training for several days entirely, but also use days when feeling appropriate feedback to push into even black out levels way past runners high.
We both have in common that social restrictions like payed jobs and gym opening times or friends limit living each style to the fullest.
Instead of split training using heavy weights the Ghetto Soldier philosophy is to work out depending on the body feedback all body parts in one day. A full day of Streetball or Futsal is a full workout, like a session of heavy weights, a session of medium weigths or pure endurance training.
These training sessions can come in different versions, but prefer no machines to use as many side or secondary muscles as possible and if machines using Bodybuilding adopted trainings using several different machines per muscle group stressing the correct concentrated performance. Therefore you'd have to use less weights per machine, but more machines per session creating an as complex as possible stress for the muscles always also training the counter muscle group like cheast and back.
We also never would train into muscle pain or when we feel very tyred in order to avoid virus infection complications or fatigueness infuries waiting for those days the muscles scream for movement.
In opposite to Bodybuilders weight control sessions are also a possible part of the training likeThai Bo or Yoga with weights.

The difference derive that Bodybuilding is made for Posing and impressive looks, while Ghetto Soldier training is to build as much kinetic energy as possible for as long as possible
A side effect is that some of us look like bodybuilders, but only when or shortly after the taining, while most by having a way higher body fat level are not visibly fit to the MTV dominated idea of at least Calvin Klein models and even weak due to Bodybuilding defining strong. The runners high comes from an increased blood circulation that needs to be triggered. Bodybuilder muscles have way less difference when stressed and relaxed than ours and we will push a way higher maximum weight under full adrenalin in extreme stress situations, but not on a normal gym day.
