A hippies nightmare. The Bali crowed of Westerners started with pretty wild Goa parties all drugged and turned into a 100% humidity, but therefore all shorts and bikini, place to stay.
Bali is a little jungle island in the 3rd world and in no way in the middle of nowhere, but only 1000km away from Jakarta, 1300km away from Nothern Australia and also just 1000km away from East Timor.
You wanna sail and glide or take a boat ride, if you are about to conquer the Island placed in a world in which time is time and money money. The Western Crews all come with charter or main carriers air liners to only focus on the traffic and heat.
Jakarta is a Jungle to get away and dive in to get lost, East Timor is a proper failed state ready for main Hollywood shoot outs, if you are all about finding the real big boys buttons by checking their daughters and sons and Australian boarder control is most likely quite different on a caost gaurd boat than at an international Airport.
This means business way off Real Eastate and Scooter rentals. If you are a proper outlaw than you might manage to avoid import tax from Australian sweam wear air cargo and find happy customers like the Italian Mob back in the days using belly shops. A shop hanging infront of the belly closing on a wissle, if the biggest gang shows presence.
Coco nuts are hard to get in Sydny, but sadly inbetween Darwin and Sydny it is another 3000 km and that defeats the fresh on the sticker badly, but than, Darwin in Australia is 140.000 Australians, too and grinded dry coco nut meat is a thing not only in a good curry while those Thai Curry Pastes can also come as delicatesses.
So, who would hook up a motivated Jakarta Crew with boat thieves from our swimming pool and sailors with some time from e.g. Lagos for a not that lucrative, but real fun business opportunity using the fact that the big guys are bussy with other big guys and petty theft is of no concern for some time to come for the first freight sailors since WW1?
PS: I know you normals and you suck! And a sailing boat needs only a plan, aluminium sheeds, a CNC machine, an aluminium welding machine, an aluminuim pipe and industrial level suing machine for the sail way off báot24 sales prices. Just check them resting for sometimes years on dry docks or empty boat harbours. It is ripp off.
