Until here knife crime was dominating for decades the London Street Crime Scene run by smaller gangs. Recently, some started targeting luxerious watch owners and got a crack down retalition for those that have a lawyer on speed dial.
Shotguns have not been used realy and all guns were mainly used to scare and pose. In opposite to TheGermans those always were real guns.
A Shotgun is an interesting choice and I wonder what kind of shooter it was. From Pump to Two Barrel Shotguns those are a statement. I am just sure it won't be one used for clay pigeons.
The problem in such actions is the revenge part. Most Gangs are not sophisticated users of violance and their conterparts are as lousy shooters with comperable bad planning. The Gangs of London are mainly small time thugs these days and there appear to be no Kray Twins arounds. It is hard to figure out what happend to all organisations that could be considered The Mob and even Rocker Clubs do not play any major role in opposite to the continent. Instead, small time thieves turned violant and there is a good chance that the actual trigger is to be found among the corrupt in one of the several Police services of town.
This is, because the Gangs have a drug supply, they have access to weapons and they are too stupid to cook drugs at home or aquire guns themselves, but every Mob or Mafia like organisations does not appreciate at all any violance against public order as such are bad for business. They kill each other or Police. The situation in Mexico is not due to the attitude of the criminals of the Kartells, but because the CIA aggrevated the situation to hinder Mexico adopting Cuban Socialism and the Camorrah goes against each other and competition or those in bad business with them. If the Dons like you, 'caus you do as said, there will be no problem. Nothing is sweeter than legal cash, beside calm bizz.
There is a good chance that creating an entire new quarter of London outside of the existing town as those that were build until the 70ies could be the solution against deeply routed corruption, if there is a long term master plan to avoid the failure of that quarter as many others like La Scampia in Napels did, but Almere as an entire town in The Netherlands prooved to be possible.
Sadly, giving in to the forces behind aggrevated little talented and drug affine youngsters is easier than taking down sniffing managers and judges or just racist and corrupt Police men.
