This guy is unique in the YouTube world. Others of his education only appear on talk shows and interviews watching the world through the Cokaine Head driven Greed is Good speculant education.
Stocks were created in a time long ago, before some Navy Radio Operator founded a new form of syndicate, to manage company ownership by a regulating body copied from markets for large quantities of goods. With massproduction and masstransport the traditional markets in castles or town centers turned too small for the traded goods and the very old system of notes, exchange papers, that made trade easier, but also turned especially Traveller and Jews into targets for Bandits, was put onto a very nother level. The Templar Knights copied the banking system for trade from the Arabs trading with China and Europe to introduce it into all of Europe's societies and thereby became super successful, until forbidden and hunted by the greedy, yet in a time way before massmurder.
During Industrialisation trade hit next level and not kilos, but entire ship loads of one single product were offered and found a buyer. Along with the amount of single goods traded, the trade companies went ballistic in size, too.
Financing, insuring and investing money reached along next levels and the modern stock exchange for company shares was founded.
The Black Friday created one of the first Investment Banker rules stating to never speculate with borrowed money and was also the end of no speculation with company shares.
Speculation means that the buyer of shares has no interest in sharing parts of the company in any way such as participating in company decisions or any company responsibilities beyond the ability to sell his shares as quickly as bought.
This turned shares and stock markets away from managing shared company ownership to looking for the shares that will rise and create profit by only selling them.
The current situation in which a few stocks are rising and hitting all time highs pushing some main indexis into new hights is considering the univeristy lessions of the Wall Street Banker at least strange, because the ovcerall economic situation should take care that the stock prices rise or sink rather moderately as the future of the economy is uncertain and no big player has realy great news at all.
Stock prices are set fixed by a buyer and seller agreeing on a price and closnig the deal transfering ownership and money in exchange. The average of those transactions is the price of a share. If no buyer is around, but sellers ask, the price does not drop no matter if the sellers ask for higher or lower prices than the current price tag. Only a accepted deal influences the price tag.
This means that in a time of incredible amounts of cash in the hands of a few, some parties are capable of bouncing stocks back and forth agreeing on ever higher price tags, while the rest of the market does either not participate or ask for lower prices.
No main league top dog investment banker of F.Homms level or at a Bloomberg Console will ever place a low order into the system knowing that noone will sell for below the price tag on the screen.
But also noone ever asked for how much would you buy that stock and bouncing blue chips around in a circle is not all illigal in general.
This, if it is the case, could lead to a market seperation and a Bad Villa situation. The market seperation would be that all not circular bounced chips would be traded based on normal market behaviour and reflect the current and expected performance of the company, while a small set goes off normal classic investor principles to remain among a few, but those would be than owning a Bad Villa. The Bad Villa is my nickname based on a luxerious Villa that has a price tag of millions, but is never sold, never finds a buyer and therefore is actually worthless, yet not, because of its all luxerious build and interior. Just nobody buys it.
If these few than also use their own currency. Doge Coin maybe, and have their employees housing ready along with schools and cars, we would have those buildings of Cyberpunk 2077 the thugs being the heros of the game cannot enter: YOU!! .. no, me. dam...
Is that gonna be creating the Corporate Human Race than based on also Corporate Bars....??? LOL
PS: I always wondered when the Taxas Hold 'em players come over to the Five Cards Draw Small Deck table... and get shot...trying to cheat as they do on their table. Well....
The metaphor means that all CIA inflicted organisations need national order to keep playing their game, but along they created a different world with very different rules.
