I did no research who this Max Headroom is, but he shows some stats and gets into predicting inflation. Most likely he is one of the Intellectuals of The Schwurbler, because of YouTube instead of TV.
He is from the classic German ecomony school limiting inflation to Vollbeschäftigung (all working, no unemployed) and rising wages creating higher prices.
He seperates inflation into overall and base inflation, cutting out energy cost for one number. Set aside criticism of that economic view, inflation as an impact of daily lives is different.
Inflation hits very different and only based on status in society. The Class communist would say. In may case, I am on assets a rather rich part owning a famly house, but due to the Ayriens that murdered their way into the hidden knight family that educated me in away that my threats against German SEK is no bigmouthing as soon as we meet, I have only money for food as they have a say, too.
On the other side of that scale are the corporate managers that have ontop of their income certain expenses given from the company such as subsedised company food, company car, metro card, hotel rooms of different standards, travell expenses and so on. That differs from canned gullasch and a bus ticket to star cook meals, luxerious car and luxerious hotel with first class flights. It is not business class for everyone on a buisiness trip, but a good joke at the airport having my English and that suite.
If you are on a busienss trip for possibly even a few weeks you do not have to spend one single Euro from your own money. You get company expenses, which are in Germany regulated by law, but noone hinders a company to put something on top and tax on it is reduced.
The rich from Holocaust money that were educated in day schools further seperated from the Untermenschen with an expenses limit per month or year for their money invested as credits for others will have another lifestyle with no income tax, but high prices of the luxerious industry.
Finally we have all clandestine groups from Anti-Fa to Rockers that do have small bank accounts and all changing cash in the wallet with some time all payed by the nation, occassionally.
As different the lifestyle is, as different inflation will be on a turff that will face more economic decline, is factually sanctioned by a lack of producing exchange export products for their imports and is about to go dwon in violance of the different groups now struggling to hold and soon failing to keep their standard of living in streets that have no valid treates, but plenty of bills around.
All products produced wihint the EU and its European affiliates will stay cheap, if they are produced. German farmers that rely on Polish and Rumanian migrating workers will have problems producing, if those stay at home after decadeds of mistreatement and prefer to work in Turkey or in their own industries.
Car manufacturers will have problems buying electronc components from China and Taiwan will increase prices.
Coffee and Tea produced in BRISC nations will have increasd prices with all impact on Caffees and Restaurants to also hit an industry selling 300% more expensive plastic sealed single cups for dedicated machines.
Most underestimate that the rich and powerful won't mind. It just makes them more eilte. Like those coffee pads.
