Misconceptions

 That this new Max Headroom of Marketing believes the 500E material and production cost watch selling for 20.000Euros was payed for by any other reason than money.
In marketing terms he correctly mentions branding or emotionalizing as the reason, but that is only possible, because the people of the watchmaker are fitting into that high price world he is part of. I would not be able to make a product as that, no matter my marketing.
The reason why others are successfully selling an item with such a high profit range is that they are part of the money world. The function does not matter. The money matters. Everyone that will see the watch will ask for the price tag, not the precsion of time indication or reliability in functionality.
The production and material price is as irrelevant. But
