The West will fail. More humans will be layed off from the work system having reached its endcycle by all relevent markets being dominated by oligopoles and monopoles.
The system will have no space for them, but in both securing their wealth measured in terms of the system and worse soon the bear minimum funded by the nation. Rome alread cut loos the South of Italy by social wellfare cuts even so not providing jobs.
Humans will revolt and face resistance from the nations forces for the interior. Some will continue the fight, some will immigrate and some will hustle. Those that hustle will soon have to start the fight against the nation that will demand its stake to fund itself based on the Systems laws and rules.
The situation will aggrevate.
No Sparta nomore in which you could make a living by just accepting being no more than a resource for the System, but being layed off left alone yet under surveillance in a system dying not accepting its end.

Wich parts will make it, if Microsoft will be around in 10 years, BMW be still producing cars, which Banks still exist, Toyota still exports cars to Germany, the UK or the USA, Computer Laptops come sealed from a Container and Fast Food Chains are everywhere or where.....I can't tell.
We for well can be in a small armed conflict with thousands of silent pockets, hundreds of hardcore battle grounds, fighting for food in some areas while killing over watches with knifes and terrorist activity blowing up public markets, national buildings or corporate offices for most even hidden in others, while in the meanwhile some pockets have food, entertainment and actually a good time.
Just Chaos is certain, not the level of complexity. Too many players to calculate.
