They did not create a cooking space or keep order like cleaning and tyding up the place at all and I can see no spot to excercise even basic physicle excercises.
The place would look for a cvilians eye only little different, but a very lot for everyone that understands warefare knowing that every soldier fights like he rests. The exact same way....unstructured lucky or precise deadly.
In the vid one even sais as soon as the enemy advances that he has lost how to do it, which is because of his lack of practice, repetetive practice becomes even more important in war as it is in training. The platoon has not prepared any the cellar surrounding positions at all and fights directly from their base. They also have not been sriding around their base to learn the close approxmities at all giving away the advantage of knowin the terretory batter than by drone video footage.
They act like a toxic gang securing a stash house against a SWAT or enemy gang, actually, like somehwere in L.A. before the Riots, The Favelas before BOPE or as still in Mexico.
In 24:09 you can see a good drone footage overview of the parameter the platoon operates in. They only used one cellar in one house and had a spotter position, even so this is an ancient form of a defenceable village build in a block structure in which the housing supports each other at least against mideval attacks. There is a central road leading to a main road having natural cover by a line of bushes which will grow covering a watering trench. Each farm will have a court, farm house and one or several shelters in U shape arranged with possibly a gate to the road. Some might have cellars and even tunnels under not only the farm house.
During this war someone even digged a trench line to extend the defence structures of the village. The platoon let several armoured vehicles approach and started resistance when being surrounded in the quarters instead of having prepared positions and free pathways to move in and around the village. One tank got stuck in the trenches and having only one Anit-Tank rocket is no excuse to stand down against a group of armoured vehicles. Bad training and lazyness are.
Considering that the enemy forces did not manage to take out the position and instead had a 12h battle against a rat hole crew I am sure that this is equals meeting.
