Swamp land constructions

Berlin was build on swamp land during Industrialisation. The reason why the House Hanover took over the Hohenzollern Royal Family in a covered operation to proclaim Emperor over all those they looted and murdered for generations surrounding the wet swamp lands inbetween Hannover and Bremen was the Polnish speaking Prussian people with a French speaking aristocracy flourishing in combination to see an explosion in birth rates that grew Berlin into a Metropole. 

Berlin is build in a block structure sitting on concrete plates ontop of the sandy ground with a complex system of rain water draining down pipes and cannales for the two rivers. 

The centers of those block platforms are the backyard courts of the houses with tiny gardens on water drain spots. 

Berlin was before TheGermans attacked rivaling Paris on its is prettiness with many hidden spots in backyard gardens living on small business trade and small manufacturing in close distance from each other. 

If the Russians have in their historic library books with blueprints of the draining system they can do this to all of town.

PS: Is the Fernsehturm already bending?  Well, the Funkturm won't,  no ground works and even no plate.
