It is true that all Franc languages adopted a lot of Latin words, but all those can be also found in Hanoveran, Dutch or Dansk.
To relate etre from est is a far stretch from a mind that bases race theory onto one organ and that also does not teach that Latin words all are set together from a rather small set of Latin core words based on which some historic texts have a quite different meaning than the translation right next to it.
