You have to
come in low and fast. The winds are down winds and the airplanes get caught in them as crosswinds to the actual flight direction. Winds will bounce of the ground and create the slip winds in higher levels above 5 to 10 meters shaking the plane designed to create lift by front winds ontop of changing unwinds.
The airplane can avoid them by going almost ground effect low coming in with a higher speed to set down early on the airfield strip going down to 15 meters 1000 meters before the airfield.
