This guy is one out of 17, but his position always got some more attention than the other 16. He is basically the Chancellor of a State, like Governor of Illinois or What_ever of Yorkshire and no Duke.

Bavaria for the Germans is always worth a joke, they are the Texans of Germany just not bigger, but more local, yet for decades the standard of living was higher than in the north which is purely by missing out on industrial changes by missing heavy industries such as mining and steel industry completely. 

But he gets attention on the same level as The Challenger from AfD, yet not for the sights.
