The longest straight road in EuropeThe Corso Francia pierces Turin like a lance, jutting out to the west of the Italian city, but is only 7.3 miles. The road was built at the nod of Vittorio Amedeo II of Savoy in 1711, beginning at the Piazza Statuto, ending at the Martyrs of Liberty Square in Rivoli.
