A Hypotheses on melting ice

That is interested and I am not into details of weather forecasting.
To the best of my knowledge strong frontiers between hot and cold air are uncommen over North America, especially strongly avoiding the Rocky Mountains.
What if that is not air cooling down, but cold air using every square mile next and in-between hot air zones to warm up?
Than temperatures over the northern ice and snow territories might increase by a jump causing widespread ice and snow melt downs resulting in both resign sea levels and rivee floods right up to the Great Lakes over the next view summer winter cycles called a year.
Is that plausible?
