Actually, he is no CEO. He is the Head of the Company and does not coordinate daily business at all.
The meeting you see is typical for that role of a German family or privately owned corporation as much as American managers off your pay responsibility will drop the nicest of words to kick of a bigger meeting, if you did well.
Nobody takes notes really. There is no recording and for most attendees the topic is completely irrelevant.

Instead this was a mindset session to understand loyalty and attitude, which is most important in a Primate or Primus driven system.
