Italy has a very long coastline and some main islands. Italy is defended by a Navy, Marines and an Airforce.
I am not sure against whom that Hitler's dream of a Tank Force is supposed to go, they hardly will turn Naples and Palermo into Gaza or South Lebanon any time soon for being poor but happy, but the only strategy that makes sense is to secretly secure the Alpine region and River Po flatland as soon as the system reaches its final crash point and until than against a Russian invasion or aggression. They might not go to Ukraine.
If that is their plan than more GeStaPo cruxial companies will move towards the Alpine Region. French gather all around Grenoble, Germans move to Munich and Austria or directly to Switzerland and most Eastern Secret Service connected enterprises go to Vienna or Innsbruck.
In a hardcore scenario with a leathel Covid mutation arising out the still circulating variants, a total economic collapse and full retreat from all areas including Israel that would be the last retreat area of all of German kind to be targeted by a very lot of missiles.
But it won't get that bad, I hope.
