A Confederate Nation Downfall Theory

Slavery existed only in the Southern parts of the today's USA, in parts of Mexico, some Carribean Islands and several parts of South America.
All Slave Enterprises were Aggriculutural Corporations mainly into plant cultivation such as Cotton and Fruits.
Large scale farming in that special climate zone was difficult compared to European or Asian climate zones.
The humid climate supports parasite infections on monocoltoures and the harvested products had comparably little value to easy growing hemp and highly demanded easy to export and store wheat.
Cotton is a demanding plant, sweet fruits quckly turn bad and for both demand was rather little compared to especially hemp and wheat.
Believing to cut down on work force cost does make sense, but not in the long run. Using forced workers in that illicit thought process instead of investing into further processing the own product to balance the actual problems by producing e.g. juices, fruit alcohols or fine cotton cloth, can have been an act of desperation by the worst adviser of all existance: fear and panic.
Having slaves the fear will increase exponentially facing both violant revolts and incredible imprisonment costs by wardens and infrastructure using all potential profits.
That increases the power of that bad initial advisor...
