Robo Taxis - Do make sense

but only in conjunction with the town administration they operate in being integrated into a public transport system.
La Defence is a small example where a small amount of Taxis would make sense, a Dubai Free Trade Zone is another and Hong-Kong might be the challenge manageable.
These Musk Rides are no Intelligence comparable to even a no brainer Interstate Truck Driver job and need an appropriate environment created.
They have no local emissions, are quite and don't need rails being more flexible than a Tramway.
Therefore, they would be perfect to pick up passengers at a La Defence Metro station and bring them to the Office Building entrances in rush our as a bus service and off as a Taxi service using about the same route of Streets and over Placas, get you to a meeting across the City of London on restricted traffic side roads or possible tunnel networks in Hong-Kong, over only bus lanes in New York Manhatten, but self-parking instead of traffic blocking with more flexibility for the passenger as rail or bus services to later have Cargo Vans added for small deliveries.
But the Jungle is not for primate drivers..
