Population numbers do not matter. The two numbers do not show how many men are in an appropriate age, in appropriate physical and mental condition or how many are both motivated and capable of being soliders at all.

Russia will develop even lighter portable rocket systems and the U.S.A. certainly also, but for the next wars. Ukraine at War also proofs that badly trained military way below Special Forces level creates Artillery destruction and thousands of funerals which looses civilian support and further damages society.

Russia has lost young man important in society and needs resources for war needed profitable in others parts of society from education to fighting poverty or infrastructure programms slowing down development possibly even risking maintenance.
This is stupid and everybody knows it, so everybody keeps going. A phenomenon new to mankind that forms this Dark Modernity.
In the long term we need to build a collective mind by enabling more travel, trade, exchange and meetings to ensure one day...
