And that won't change.
Instead, TheGermans are heading down their own path, as before in the Clubbing Scene. Berlin is the only town world wide in which dressing down is mandatory for a Party Night Out having at it's center an actual hardcore hedonist gay club. That's not bad, if you know before...3h about.
To me striding by the Döner was the actual highlight and I had to admit to myself that I had become to old to deal with a gay buddy that squeezed me past the bouncers again, beside House was gone and tourists had taken over fully each club my company got me into. That was back in the days bad allready and it got way worse.
Berlin does the same with Fashion now. Instead of becoming a small version of the big luxerious fashion brands dominating the arts, yet currently still on the look out of someone able to fit into Karl Lagerfeld and Sean-Paul Gautier levels of excellence, they turned into something extraordinary too obviously for my taste influenced by GDR socialist art work and old Nazi buildings, to be honest.
I can't and won't afford a Coco Channel item as a present and neither will buy any Hermes suite for myself, because I am a poor ripped off Untermensch among Germans, but the Berlin style fashion is not happening out of pure rejection on a hate level.
So, I got stuck with age appropriate 501 cut trousers and possibly some Carhatt from Wish. I am boring and like it....
