PS: In no other situation is survival about the fittest and not about the strongest as in war, but fit in English means to fit in and not fitness. An old man having past military experiance would be a fool trying to outrun a younger or bigger group and instead should use his experience and calmness, like others learned hate having created an ability to blunt brutality.
A screaming dying enemy, decupated and molested bodies will break moral for one as much as waiting to trap or using local geographic knowledge will have more success then applying standard run and shoot drills to a combat, when it's time to kill.
