Really?

As much as I love Miami Vice, I have to do that...
I am not sure if your Lawyer is the best. First of all you should sue the State of Miami for miss-information, because they did not specify what the charges against you are. As a public figure this is important for your reputation especially as a purposefully controversial figure.
Seizing privetly used items is a huge impact on individual and personal rights. As much as an Officer may not without a warrant search a home and will have even trouble justifying going through the trash for minor or small offenses taking personal items must be relative to the accusation and investigation possibilities.
The warrant must specifically state what is looked for and must be, as I'd argue if I was a lawyer, incapable to be remote engineered or be needed to fund remote engineered evidence into solid proof.
Like, watching websites and talking in a pub about .50 cal ammo does not justify a house search. Having asked to acquire illegal neither, but having an informant that shows pictures of buying .50 cal ammo justifies a search warrant looking through all items capable of holding a .50 cal rifle; Which excludes the side board next to a bed even so it can hold a 38.
In this case, after receiving the items back, I had them transferred to a neutral entity agreed up by also the law enforcement agency to have the private intrusion level evaluated for further legal actions in terms of compensation together with a restraining order against the Governor to mention the name Tate in public until solid legal acquisitions are made leading to a trial.
