The actual durability and strength is provided by the steal rather than the pured concrete mix. The solid, dense concrete provides great sound insulation, but transports temperature differences easily and is heavy itself.

PS: If construction like that is mastered, Socialist Real Estate can be upgraded cutting energy consumption of each building down by 90%, if also box windows are added by turning standard single wing windows by the created space for a second single wing window each. In Europe millions of squaremeters housing are build from standardised concrete block factory housing constructions. The are basically put into a steal foam coat enforcing the existing construction providing also a prime layer of advanced insulation.
If smart home technology is added the houses could turn plus energy houses. It would need door and window position sensors connected to heaters, solar cells on rooftops and southsides, airpreassure energy reservoirs storing surplus energy for use in airpreassure driven piston engines and low energy lighting that turns off in empty rooms.
