There are certain rules to obtain citizenship such as naturalisation or having U.S. parents beside being born on U.S. soil. Technically speaking, if your parents are U.S. Americans the child has to apply to obtain citizenship, if born outside the U.S.A.
Then, owning a gun, bearing arms, is a Constitutional Right, those all come with duties and are no privilige or psychological compensation tool. Responsibility is the bare minimum.
