I am under the impression they are blind flying. This guy, knowing what he talks about, talks about virtual environment trained humanoid robots like the Rocker Kingpin Tattooist about me being the toughest around.
He had no idea...
AI models need to be trained. Humanoid robots are like a self-driving car just on legs.
There is no way a machine takes me for a ride having me enjoy the ride or what is the point in being driven if it is no Rolls Royce and you take care of your wifey before the Opera on that Saturday evening?
There is a great chance that the Big Corps are missing the point of AI by aiming way too high. A factory is not just machines with some biorganisms having sick time to operate them and if you need a Billion scenarios to train an AI in that factory you must produce single nano robot items for the Solar Station and no Shoes or Cars.
You want to use AI as is to run over data points in a lean production factory to optimize the work and work environment. Technical perfection is 99.9% fault free output. The more data a factory collects from its production line quality management the lower that number will be and if they don't the more expensive the recalls will become.
AI can help, if someone understands to ask the correct questions accepting the answers, to find those parts that cause sick time for workers by injuries, those items that have a higher fault rate and chains of events that cause injuries or faults.
AI is not creative. AI might find its limits if it is about finding new ways of moving an industrial robots arms more efficiently in a chain of robots interacting. It's creativity is actually a brute force attack onto a password. You can use psychology and social engineering to make the guy tell you his password or use long list of passwords and try them. That one billion data points as training data is before the AI even starting to calculate options and that is before trying them.
We have had in the past already an attempt to exchange humans by machines. Do you honestly believe that the Loom workers in Bohemia destroyed their own Looms? Well, I am telling you that the best cloth came from household run Looms in Bohemian Villages and that the Hanoveran's failed to separate the lubricant oil from their steam machine run Loom batteries and tried to cut down the superior and equal in price imports by attacking these Villages, like Nazis created legends of Jewish Bankers going broke by their economic principles in historic unmatched record time.
What will these Mind Sets do considering the Blood Diamond trade and illegal mining in Africa, if they figure out that I am all on point about how to use AI and they fail all along?
You got me Address. I am right here waiting.
