That is no hitmen. Hitmen kill for money. Mercenaries are hired Soldiers, also no hired guns. They have uniforms, a mission and operate under international laws of engagement.
SS didn't do none of that. That's whey they managed to get shot on the spot without any trial for war crimes or murder.
They just get shot dead being a hord officially called irregular combatants in and off uniform.
