There is a chance they start lying now. These Skinnies are extremely aggressive when attacking and use the "flying knife" tactic. That is no controlled targeting of deadly spots like arterias or nerves or the throat as Special Forces or Paramilitaries do, but looks like someone in panic waving his arms in all directions.
The Officer must have been cut by a surprise attack at the hands and arms within seconds and if not being able to retreat also into the face. The moves cause cuts in opposite to the Prison Gang repeated hard belly smacking we all know from Hollywood which is called "to smack someone" in English. Special Forces use both cutting and smacking depending on the spot and position.
That official story means that the Polizei Officer was cut and still managed to pull his gun, unsafety it, chamber a round and shoot several rounds. Even if they would have broken safety protocols and came loaded ready they still must have reacted in seconds while someone actively challenges their Authority, something a German just can't deal with, mentally.
