AI - Status Update

Germans have some qualities. The best Computer Magazine is a German language one. They are no Poets and Philosophers, that always was us, but they are really good in creating summaries, the only appreciated form of order by us.

He confirms what I said.

The big players are now changing how the Internet works, by changing the way it is used.

First someone at CERN, Tim Berners Lee, developed a coding language dedicated for distributed information sharing. HTML is a web site description language and a computer language, no matter what your IT teacher says, and the perfect starting point to start coding.

From there the science world created new books having links pretty exactly like Wikipedia, which has a way bigger importance to some of us than to the popular most.

From here the World Wide Web was born and eventually someone thought that having a look by opening a Browser onto a Coffee machine pot in the other building on Campus or sharing music within the Fraternity was boring or stupid illegal, but selling coffee machine, roasted coffee, mugs and cups along with CDs and now even mp3s would make him rich.

Our pleasure Jeff. Greetings to your wife, she stayed and didn't take half? You are such a Dick...

Google uses the same idea of searching by looking up stuff, instead of being past on an address. It says that most WWW users only visit about 5 Web pages of which two I allready mentioned.
Internet users, those that work in large companies, use hidden servers hardly getting the Internet part anymore being the very backbone of them being able to pay bills.

AI systems coming now are quite in your face and will become for most the Interactive Web.

We had Theater Plays in which the crew got direct feedback from the audience, we have Cinema movies that created virtual stars and then Computer Games in which we are acting.

With AI Agents taking over large parts of our starting gateways for internet use, we got one step further to the 3D jacked in Cyberpunk Deckers.

The open source community can hook up on that by becoming Dirk Baulig's Dream Agency delivering custom AI systems into even small offices with niche solutions the big guys are too inflexible to build in a cost effective way.

PS. This one. What the FT misses once per month...
