AI - Status Update - The Apps

He gives a great overview of actually useful Apps you want to check out, if you are into Apple iPhones. For everyone that never minded the disstrack about Microsoft Nokia phones no matter if falling short of what that was actually able to do...

Everything that is sensor related and right along security related will be open source heavy.

Smart Home technology can already help a work shop and small factory owner to save energy by no more than letting someone remotely drive down the heating on a late Friday or get a call to Police against burglars giving them intel on how many, armed and their actions.

Firewalls and Anti-Virus software is always local.

Both are not smart anymore, considering what even small llama models can add especially if being trained by RAGing them with tailored and dedicated information, but in an urgent need of upgrades.

Sensors collect data. Right now that data is triggering sets of actions. The clock hitting 1800 Friday will turn down the temperature until the sensor measures 16 degrees and on Monday 0600 drives up the temperature until it hits 21 degrees Celsius.

The same applies of Firewalls. Port 2008 is blocked. Period.

Analyzing the collected data needs Excel and time to think about the data in order to create more rules. Rules are not flexible.

AI can both help to find meaningful rules and create flexibility. In order to understand the capability of AI models, turn on DeepThink in DeepSeek and follow its decision making.
It is roughly the same for also smaller models, the main difference is the amount of data sets and which data it has.
