The Wetterscheide or in German Wasserscheide was until here an urban myth like story told when visiting the Wasserkuppe, a mountain in the Röhn mid-range mountain region of what once was Franconia.

The Röhn is a very wet moor land with a lot of fog having even skiable mountains despite the position and rather low heights. It is a fairy tale setting, but more on the horror fantasy side speaking in cinematic terms while the flat lands of Franconia to the Main river valley are very sunny and rather hot.
