That is having used Darktable on the RAW image the cam created using the Arduino Sony sensor and Raspi Tele lens and that's how that thing looks like in alpha stage:
Why I do not use a normal Camera?
Well, that's so much not the point and we can't be friends anymore, beside I've got one.
Jokes aside is this actually a tiny Raspberry Pi Beowulf Cluster which had no use except being eccentric to others and for the rest teaching about Beowulf Cluster architecture, which is a Supercomputer design that uses standard hardware being capable of parallel processing and that can fit onto your desk. Those on the desk are outperformed by high end standard hardware, but for some tasks, such as music production, rendering projects into MP3 or wave files, they are much faster for a fraction of the price tag. They are not for gaming and spread sheet operations do need some extra work.
Normal
cameras, such as a Canon DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex), do one
thing and that's taking photos. Despite mobile phones reaching great
levels they are still around and popular, but obviously a dual lens
Infrared-HQ Raspberry Pi Beowulf Cluster camera system with attached
GPRS and Hailo AI object detection kit, is questionable....
Innit.
The Cyberdeck project
is a living thing that might be never finished, which is the excessive but
logic consequence of Linux. It will receive more lenses, like an
Autofocus sensor one and a text scanner to capture book, journal or
newspaper texts.
The Cam is on the artistic side of cameras and adds the rare NoIr capability making pictures at pitch darkness without a flashlight.
It
is also part of a Knowledge Management System and will use object
detection combined with some small RAGed LLM being a tour guide on vacation
or business trips while being constantly extendable.
Linux
is a niche. As easy to use, but limited Windows is, as pretty, but
expensive Apple is, as dedicated is Linux to be no standard product.
