I once arrived at a Corporate Hotel in a Business Park close to Lisbon. I walked to the reception and told them I had a reservation on My_Name. Asked for an ID I put down my German ID. The woman picked it up, studied the face and dropped slightly surprised: That is really you.
No one ever asked my how that happened.
