Cultivated meat produced without a scaffold bypasses the need to organize cells into a 3D structural cut (like a steak). Instead, the muscle and fat cells are harvested straight from the bioreactor as a rich, dense biological paste or slurry. ## 1. How Does it Taste?

Because it consists of genuine animal muscle and fat cells, it does not taste like a plant-based substitute. [2, 5]
