I have heard the answer, which is seven, but .... ???
Obviously, I'd assume that when every daughter has a brother and not all daughters having a brother he might have been a bussy and very lucky man sharing his six mothers into only three houses.
But than, it is Germany afterall and that is a special place in this world.
