In the past we broke a leg or arm to have a pain impulse override being an idiot per default. In my last encounter in Frankfurt some years ago of which the Germans tell it was a KSK soldier I dislocated a knie of one out of such a group who kept coming no matter their blood loss.
But that was in Cold War a long time ago and they got a nice and easy treatment by a fair fist fight with a chance to proclaim the incident for one of them.
Put in fear they will give into everything to as soon left alone swear revenge having forgotten the deal the moment you are of sight.
