The Americans trying peace. Just why would Russia go for peace? Right now they watch how the Allies of the Stalinists that ruined Russia and its proxies go down even worse. The last generation of Stalinists understood the need of reforms and acknowledged that planning an entire economy by a ministerial system does not bring prosperity beyond a certain point.
The West refuses to acknowledge that their system of nation protects continous crimes against human rights by covering them up perfectly. You may decide if living in Gaza surrounded by a fence that shields from the wealth of others looking down onto you is better or worse than having a subway ticket from the state to watch the wealthy owning and spending knowing your own future, and who actually steals from whom.
I personally never was payed fair and so were my superiors in an ugly opposite way making it ever worse.
The U.S.A. is more free than the EU. Except within media the nation has no ultimate power and only say. Americans can and do defend themselves and even in courts they find a chance for justice. Germany is just the worst opposite. Germany's wealth was always a lie. They deny the Marshall Plan and just recently figured out that Mercedes cars were way cheaper by ultra low Russian gas used to create electricity still being short of understanding that the quality issues since the 90ies come from Turks having been sick of German hospitality. Everyone who followed the news and has some brain understands that NATO broke every contract and treaty made with Russia since the Sowjet Union seized its existence from within.
There is no way Putin will trust anyone in the West, for ever. Instead they will compete for the rest of the world by trade and investments just as the Chinese did while the CIA targeting foreigne brain power will face counter violance and assassinations world wide as soon as getting close to humans important to their community.
Hardly anyone understands how Apartheid was defeated or that there is no safe place in an underground war to the very opposite of a classic military campaigne. That war was a proof of concept with perfect results.
With more sanctions The West will isolate and alienate itself from the world community which might soon have time to redraw false boarders peacefully and reform that system of nations desgined to only serve a few, but not mankind for the better.
The West will face soon more violance and most likely an unmet and unseen wave of terrorism. There is no place for Nazi breeds here. This is our home.
