So, in every other region the car driver would slow down a bit more to let the guy walk and speed up again and the walking person not even catch if the driver was pointing out the traffic lights having a dedicated pedestrian walk, but just walk on.

It appears to cause them more stress to try to stay calm instead of starting a conflict for even the most minor things and issues.
The City of New York faced so much Jay Walking that they needed to announce large fines for Jay Walking, dangerous Jay Walking blocking traffic, after having had plenty of accidents in mainly Manhattan. No one would act like that in Springfield, Kentucky or even consider doing that. Homer, Maggy or Marge, Bart, Lisa, Petty and Selma, Mr Burns, Fat Tony... you name them.
There is something badly wrong with the German soul and it can't be having lost too many wars. It was just two and they started both having deserved it.

He stops at a green light, then. Would you not ignore any red, if the track is clear and even though that was not that fast to be honest; Just saying... on a mission of what ever was important there.
