The Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun is a standard, baseline equipment item carried in the trunk or securing mounts of nearly all standard German state and federal patrol vehicles (known as Streifenwagen). In some historical tactical vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz W126 (420SE), MP5s were even custom-molded into the door panels.
