They consider themselves Engeneers instead of career men that take down each one correcting them about laws of physics instead of following unquestioned as no dog would, yet a SS man.
The decisions of that Family put VAG exactly where they are. Volkswagen was the Nazi answer to mankind's mobilization by automobility produced on industrial scale.
That as such means affordable, safe and durable vehicles.
VAG produces high priced vehicles labelled as luxurious, that lack safe suspension travel and engine placement and use engine management and turbos for no fuel efficiency, but increasing horse power out put no matter life cycle time frame cuts.
They would have to in order to survive build from today on cars reliable as Toyota, fitting as French and desirable as American cars, but designed around the needs of the other 7 Billion people on this planet.
No one else does that neither and they won't start, while the others actually did
