If you are a shadow runner and not just a thieve working for the wrong side you think differently. You are like the guy in Drive listening to your heart while the bad and ugly die around you when working in the shadows of society. He would have driven off, if any of his clients violated the 5min rule. He does not work with anyone that either does not understand the rules, keeps discussing the rules or is not capeable to stick to the rules. You are no bitch for no one, but to, if its bitching time, including death.
As a shodow runner you work on a kodex. Like the guy in Drive or Jack Reacher, you will help and protect the weak. You do not make rules for everyone, but find those that will naturaly agree on the same rules and join only those living the same kodex even unspoken. This is why Jack can step out of a car and take a bus ride, while every Sith would be pointed out by the others.
Shadow runners understand hell, can fight everyone all day long and deep into the night, but they don't create hell for anyone ever.
Be a Shadow Runner, Cold War Warrior and as a Strategist never put you warriors anywhere else.
