in some areas the Ukrainians are attacking. This is no retreat, this is a termination or swiping campaigne, at least through areas in which no civilians can be expected at all.
On the other end of combat are seek to kill runs. Instead of hitting every potential spot an enemy could hide, you sneak around as silently as possible, listen and smell to get a trace of an enemy position, which are in this case more of a shelter spot in a room than a prepared defence position. Than approach that even more careful and place well aimed kill shots from a spot with a safe retreat path.
The letter, needs sober elite soldiers....noone sliding his matress on his ass over battleground soil.
On the handling of the wounded comrad you can see that they are factualy being lost striding around on the battlefield. If they had situational awarenss, they would give the soldier having a serious hit that possbly can create inner bleeding an appropirate first aid to stop the wound form infections and the bleeding. Than, the comander needs one strong or two soldiers to evac the wounded comrad to a defined save pick up spot.
