Creating a run - How to create an adventure for pen'n'paper

So.

Everything is ready. Either online with a shared screen and webcam or on a table setting - a game master found his group of five to six weirdos that are up for leaving the real world and getting into the boys equivalent of the pony farm: A dark future run....

Stay sober.

But how to create the run?

Back in the days when I was one of these boys, I wrote first a short story. A few lines can be enough. The starting point is either an existing run to follow up or a new hire.

The contracts are usually done somewhere in the Sprawl or online in what would be today the dark web. 

Let's put down that the group exists. It is a street magician working with spells rather than a totem. He'll constantly mumble in what turns out to be Latin and he's specialized in war magic. Fire balls, distractions and illusions will be his part.

A rigger called driver is another character. He's got body upgrades to link directly into a car and his ride is a wide body V8 armored sedan giving space for all 5 plus a load of max 300kg in the boot, that will blend into all parts of the corporate world as a security guard vehicle. 

The degger called hacker is quite good in his job and can when linked into his computer highjack even advanced security systems. This being said, for some he needs more time and be really close connected by wire.

Two street samurais turn the runner squad into a car load. They both are no humans, but trolls, and it will get cousy in the backseat for the third passenger. On the other hand side they both have interlinks to their weapons, tactical computers, combat drones and a skill set to use their equipment that would impress the Punisher.

They are united by Rambo's attitude.

Their usual spot to hang out is the bar, they own, next to the church. They run the five streets around the church and have a reputation to take on jobs against everybody considered a major asshole keeping what they catch. 

A cousin of the church servant living in a sprawl further south got killed in a gang war as a bystander and the police did not manage to get the head staying save and protected by corruption on a yacht. The church servant stated noone in the local police force nore any other gang would point at anyone up for the top dogs gang, but he might be connecte to affiliates all around the globe.

They have the young mans full attention.

This is known: The yacht is a luxurious super yacht with a heli port staying offshore in international waters receiving supply by air and a smaller vessel from always the same port and yacht supply agency. He is protected by mercenaries that stay partially on board, have a second yacht within 800 meters and two small speed boats. How many nobody knows, but they are also the body guards on land using 3 SUV armored cars when meeting the local gangs in a pack of 8.

They have about a dozent different gangs running in the sprawl and occupy a major part of the sea side districts, but not the international freight harbour, filled with upper class clients and the party elite including rich kid tourists. 

The local police is just shit scared off both gangs and enforcing mercenaries operating on military level using assault weapons and light body armor, while the gangs are most toxic magicians and low profile street samurais using blade weapons and small fire arms such as 9mill pistols. So, they take the cash drops.

The boss himself is a psychopathic toxic Schamane and his totem is a shark.

There is no head money, just prayers for his killers, but he has physical items in the lower millions, most likely gold and platin coins on the yacht, plus an approx. turn over of 3 million per month on hard psychoactive drugs distributed in his districted that are apparently cooked on a container ship anywhere further offshore. The electronic coins end customers pay with are stored in a safe harbour country in a bank that does not ask any questions - ever.

Have fun.... creating blue prints, creating non-player characters to kill - to get support from, estimating the odds and what can and will go wrong, beside the cash weight of the run.

The underdog perspective on World Wars

In the headlines and broadcasts the first world war was about limiting Prussian imperialism stretching its hand out over Europe and therefore the Aristocracy of Europe dealing in arms about their share of power. The second was turning down fashism before it was able to turn overkill and the third world war known as the cold war was about freedom either the capitalist or socialist way.

In all of these the underdog suffered, got killed, lost family, was displaced, cried and felt helplessness - the worst of all feelings.

For aristocracy gone mad "eat cake, if there is no bread" style the common is no more than cattle with some more useful abilities, for fashists there is one race the only worthy of living and breathing and in cold war the two main systems were in war, if the rich or the party member was the top dog on privileges.

A street musician has no way, practically, to get justice, if pop star icon Boy Topdog just takes one of his possibly even improvised performances and uses his reach to create millions. No way to proof and no lawyer that would even consider taking this to court. 

No matter how constantly brilliant and profitable your input into the company is, no manager has to give you a fair share relative to the money made.

No matter how much you outperform the others in any sport, if management just doesn't consider you a fit for the team....

The last wars all were about slavery put upon the underdogs. Now there is Corona and it came to stay for some time no matter how hard we ignore it.

The Pest came and ended on of the worst episodes in European history by pushing all of this continent into armed struggle and turmoil ending feudalism giving the renaissance space to rise creating the artistic, spiritual and philosophical grounds of all modern human progress we are so often so proud of.

Yet we talk and keep going the wrong way in every aspect. There is one thing for sure these days. If they address an issue, it will stay an issue. 

Human rights inequality, separating humans in races, climat change impact, unfair pay, exploiting natural resources, borders separating, migration out of poverty and fear.

If I read the signs properly, than there will be no dysantrop society, but war.

The Cyberpunk and Shadowrun utopias are in so many respects the ultimate dream of the very greedy, turning over religious and political fashism into turbocharged financial anarchistic capitalism. 

Instead of privileged clans, a somehow defined group of equals or a political almost religous idea, companies of enterprises will compete in conflict, based on the false idea that war or conflict creates progress by being in a constant struggle to survive pushing us to our limits. 

A thought by those that never will see or feel the beauty of Michael Angelos creations, that consider the Mona Lisa just a painting of a woman and that believe Bauhaus was all about lean production and therefore always will need slaves or enslaved creative minds they exploit in jealousy of their beauty. 

Even white man painters of the American slave markets could not in any respect hide the impressive strength of Africans put on display. Their willpower to survive, the jealousy of then European men believing to acquire them seeing their capability, the fear of the slave driver imagining them off chains and the basic biologic greed of the woman master.

Underdogs go to heaven, camels through a needle before rich man go, too, so Oscar died poor.

The black death derived from rats and was transmitted to humans by their bite or insects. The Corona Virus is spreading around already worse then the Spanish Flue, but yet to hit Pest level, was origin by bats.

The link above leads to an info page on a research project in which insects are scanned for new Viruses and in 1243 Insects they already have 20 new genera of Viruses discovered.

Nature tried in the past populating earth by big and stupid, called the Dinosaures. Now it is individual intelligence and the problem of individual intelligence in heard based creatures is that a group of stupid can block any individual from prospering. The better is the enemy of the good.

Insects are collective intelligence. They function chaotically. They produce, develop and prosper without individual from the crowed outstanding parts of the whole society. 

Since a few decades we have massive problems in central Europe with insects and especially Bees dying. I don't get stuck by a Bee or Wasp, because I don't try to punch them, while everybody else around me hates me for that, but keeps picking up a fight with little David they will loos every time over and over again.

I am surrounded by stupids most of the time. 

Any chance that the Virus that will kill us all, anytime in the future, and create space for insects taking the crown of this planet, comes from insects that we are about to extinguish and that are important for the overal blossoming of the eco system while we turned hostile to it?

Sherlock on pills...from ISIS Syria in a Naples Club night out

Does not necessarily mean that Sherlock is actually taking pills...

Earlier this year a major load of pills from Syria produced by ISIS was busted by the Guardia di Financia in Naples. 14 tons of amphetamine pills were found hidden in industrial paper rolls. The usual media suspect of a dutch kitchen, operating this time on another level of productivity was out of consideration immediately.

Instead it was reported that ISIS produced them in Syria selling them wholesale to the Camorra.

Like: Syria + Naples = New School Terrorists in financial trouble and Old School Napolitanians in party mood.

The container had a shipping company label and they are specialised in mediterranen cargo shippings. In Syria they ship from Tartous, which is a government stronghold close to Homs, which saw heavy and sever fighting against rebels during the ongoing civil war. 

I can hardly believe that ISIS, being enemy to both parties, manages to get an industrial mass production scale load through a hub needed by the government that must be heavily secured by the army and all Syrian secret services, as being an important hub for Iranian supplies coming in to the government controlled areas.

A bit further south is Lebanon that turned, in my opinion and pointed out in an earlier post, dysantrop already. The company serves also Tripoli and a bit of search on Dr. Google returns a hit on a company busy in Lebanon within both the pharmaceutical and paper industry.

So my formula looks different. Again, like pretty much always.

The African Congress ongoing

There is currently a congress ongoing that is pretty much only covered by the French National media in the northern hemisphere and along trouble is rising between Algeria and France on school books views on history.

The aftermath of colonisation is still biting all and everyone in range.

In the movie Blood Diamonds a local sais that he is happy that they don't have oil in the region and I wondered, if he lost his glasses considering the civil war environment he dropped that one and I am sure he does not know about cobalt and battery cars, yet.

So, Africa is a mess. Good news is that it is also quite chaotic. The worst of all crimes against humanity, we Europeans managed to put on and not stop in time, happend in a time of most hierarchic structures and clear order in place.

Africa has today 32 Million displaced people. That means that 32 Million people managed to go on the run instead of becoming small arm victims, while just a few decades ago, even so industrial scale mobilisation had reshaped society, 6 Million humans turned victim staying at home having no place to run to facing small arms and finally gas chambers.

Africa is not the black continent. Africa is the most diverse contient on earth. It is in the north Arabic, Black in the centre and in the south quite mixed between European, Indian origin and black African humans all over belonging to several different people, I cannot count like stars from my garden. It is as close as it gets to the Wild Wild West that once made America the land of the free, while today everybody is on a credit line.

While everybody must only see poverty and trouble, I see opportunities I most unfortunately can not use when I watch reports on Africa. Wall Street slang is all about the bang for a Dollar and I well know how much a Dollar can move in an area where you can live by a Dollar a day. 

Check your bank statement. Income minus rest divided by 30 and you understand what you need all together by day in this developed world and than take that dollar and stretch it out over a day. 

"Dont spent it in one go" the rich man said giving the homeless a Dollar "Thank you. I won't. A meal I get for free at the shelter and a Chubba Chubs is no Dollar. Have a nice day."

Those that envision a dysantrop society in Europe are also the enemy of mother Africa, the place the homo sapiens we all are, was first found. 

Slave Farmers that wan't their farms back are working hard on cutting down on South African progress, drug Kartells that use West Africa as a hub to their European markets already managed to get their foot down successfully in Nigeria are now even exporting small boat coast line piracy from Somalia to the Nigerian river delta and will most likely use Pre-runner called off-road race trucks well tested on Mexican soil to cross the Sahara connecting to smuggler gangs based in Marrocco crossing to Spain on light speed boats, mining companies that beside corruption also use SS style massacres against civilians that mind becoming work slaves without any union or even basic human rights like work safety and social insurances or any share of the prosperity in their ansisters soil.  

All these organised groups will further horizontally connect and integrate sharing the same interest of profit over people using warriors that believe in glory by war and conflict, while our western society is stuck in bigger and faster rising structural problems of our system, giving them lethal time to establish vertical structures digging into African societies creating slaves again.

In the same way I and others like me, neither can flourish in the western society nor even become soldiers as Legionairs, won't be given any chance to take on, supported by those very nations that put us down and into outsider positions, those that are even worse than ignorant politicians or bad mouthing neighbours: Bad Guys....in arms, using free markets too sell off what we captured, like gear, guns and equipment, collecting head money for their leaders and having a life that makes sense over saving for shit we don't need, ever, sucking up to the authority in charge just to have some peace.

Fuck the free world? Fuck the peace.

Give me a good reason and I start a war.

Evolution interacting

Biological evolution is based on mutations. Biologic organisms change, which is called mutation, and those fittest will not only survive but thrive. Humans are a mutation of apes that further evolved into today's only race, the homo sapiens.

We are growing based on a blue print called DNA and in opposite to other strategies we are born with little capability and instead learn, therefore it takes sometimes up to even three decades, about a quarter of our live span, until we move out from our close family, the human nest, and possibly come back in the last quarter to again enjoy the protection.

This DNA string is rather simple, but creates a quite complex body that has also a mind and character. 

Most likely that DNA string created by a sperm and egg cell fusion and mutation further changes what it builds in case of the human developing by growing and learning. It is interactive and not a blue print from e.g. an architectural building. That means, if this statement is true, that in an equal series of cloned DNA strings, the developing and growing organism will be different when growing up in different environments of a period of time. 

Twins from an orphanage that got separated early and put into different social groups will turn out different in physic and mental state the longer they are separated. 

I keep wondering, if Corona is natures way to change humans, because even the biggest ignorant fool must understand that we have managed to turn alien towards the us surrounding planet we live in. 

Based on that thought I further wonder if beside learning, humans might develop based on an interaction of viruses and substances, basically the way of living our lifes. Most diseases are not lethal, but make the body create anti-bodies considered to strengthen the human immune system that is next to our intelligence the foundation of surviving and striving, while using toxic substances like illegal drugs harms and shortens live span. 

Corona might be just that. Another flue that has the fit become fitter by strengthening the immune system and taking out the unfit that lived on drugs illegal or prescription.

I am not a biochemist and do not in detail understand how the Corona Virus interacts with the ACE2 receptor and the system that controls e.g. blood pressure the receptor is connected to. But so also Biochemists and Virologists do not. They just started research and the internet gets more more content as research progresses. 

In the latest mutations of the Corona virus I read that the virus started to have parts of its own DNA, that will interact with the infected body, changing parts responsible for tissue generation and repair. Biologic mutation makes the fit live longer. We live longer on a basic level, if we improve our bodies capability of cell regeneration so wounds heal quicker, we longer stay young and start aging later.

Nature already managed to slow our toxic fossil based mobility down turning as a most prominent exemple Venice blue again, while those frequenting the worst of our spots to socially interact, public parties based on drug and alcohol consumption that have every weekend sky rock police reports, into virus spread hot spots. 

In the dark future utopies there is only one Virus that creates meta-humans and leads to another time of war between normal humans and meta-humans pushing the world into a world of shadow running cyberpunks.

To connect the dots here: I wondered when cooking coffee before starting this blog post, if in the future nature tries to have us as humans develop based on very simple DNA that is quite exchangeable between all humans and instead keeps pushing individual development onto an interaction of Viruses and substance use. 

You become what you fetch and score, instead you are what you eat and do?

If I would not have been born into hell's kitchen I would have had a shot to kick of and take Newtons chair telling that an absolute powerful god will exist with or without time, because of the "absolute" in power explaining Physics in a best seller...

Instead I turned an arrogant big-headed uneducated fool that got way too deep into Sci-Fi and so for me the Atropa Sci-Fi short series on Youtube is a stunner. 

So, that ship got caught in a space-time abnormally and I guess the person that envisioned or inspired these episodes quite liked Einstein. That Swiss guy that said we cannot travel faster than light and that time is the fourth dimension, while the elite educated fools sucking up to whom ever takes place in Newtons chair argue about 7 or 11 dimensions in a pile of educated and sophisticated bullshit. Good Will's fellas keep hunting for the time being therefore and train the unity of body and mind ;-).

Based on Einsteins time dimension theory the story Atropa tells is about a ship that got stuck in a theoretically possible place where time is bent by gravity making them meet themselves by travelling back in time....

You might have heard about the time travel problem on which Joe Odypussy Timy goes back to kill his dad rising the question, if he'd erase himself, usually coming up in a Pub somewhere in or around Oxford to Harvard when the rich boys try to hurrass the poor fool and being up for collecting a beating. Instead of kicking in their teeth ask them in which of the parallel universes, and why they think there is an infinite amount of parallel universities we all exist in, if only a certain amount of decisions created the reality in which Joe went back to kill his dad, beside why is a universe equal to a reality and are you shit heads realy adding eternities up? 

Good Will hunting conversations will continue to happen regularly between Pubs in Oxford to Harvard as long everybody can read, but only a few think.

The near future

Corona will go underground. The next major wave is ahead and there is some chance that the visible parts of society and the media will simply ignore the Virus.

Most parts of our social life that happens in cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs is run, controlled and managed by underground organisations and those that try to keep them at bay.

The best restaurant in town just lost its chef by being busted with cocain, the shiniest bar and place to go to after the fine dinner lost major parts of its society in that bust and the bouncers at the blingbling club are somehow scared since than. Sounds familiar or just likely?

The majority does not do cocain, but ignores.

Corona will further spread by more mutations for the near future and this way keep dominating everybody's life, take out some into long Covid retirement or even out completely by death, while others will create anti-bodies and create a stronger immune system in the long run, because that's what Virus infection survivors do.

The media present parts of our society collaborate with the Anti-Corona restriction protestors, by going party hard and in trouble with the law enforcement open air park style, by creating underground parties invitation only, by hitting the tight and dense vacation spots hard to meet up afterwards chilling out and showing off the pics and best stories as always since ever.  

They are all tired of joining the life of me alikes. That's the loosers and outsides of society that most times of their lifes have to save and double check every penny spent, that go out to bars with a cash limit, that avoid the shiny dress code only "sorry not today" clubs and hang with the freaks and weirdos of town in open door policy places, that do not mind in no way dropping frequently out of nine to five, because buying shit not needed does not make happy at all.

But for how long will this go on? But what will be the impact?

Corona appears to be all up for spreading through mankind. The Delta variant currently dominating registered infections is already in about 30% percent of all mRNA vaccinated cases resistant and still infectious, while the first respectable sources reported on unforeseen side effects of the mRNA vaccines. 35.000 woman reported menstruation pain shortly after the shot that luckily did not manifest long term. If this remains the peak level of unforeseen side effects created by a new vaccine that was tested in panic mode way off any respectable safety net, we have had been lucky. 

The stock markets go sideways and the media is divided by 10 to 20 percent correction theories and not that bad economic base data with more cash on the way, while on the other side most major prestigious complex projects in the leading economies almost failed to be successfully finished, transportation lines start struggling due to lacks of containers and Covid impact and the Metaverse called next big thing in internet development makes no sense at all to at least me.

The near future will create only more underground change while the surface will continue to be based on ignorance, like on that vacation trip when, ignoring the bank account balance, selecting a restaurant, ignoring run by whom and how, in all in overcrowded hot Lisboa.

Efficiency Mass Transport Oxymoron

 Mobilisation along with industrialisation enabled us to travel faster on longer distances easier. We build competing systems based on our market system for goods and persons like roads, trains and plaines. Ships for long distance travel got outdated quickly. 

There are three options usually today going from one capital town to another. Take the car or bus using the road system, a train to go from a station to another swapping between Underground and High-Speed train or take a flight from an airport located in the outskirts.

Basic market rules force us as a society or market to turn travelling continuously more and more efficient.

Cars become more fuel efficient, trains faster and take more passengers, planes become more fuel efficient and larger. Planes already reached a maximum size it appears, because the latest super carrier contracts were cancelled again. Trains are running on schedules and reached their flexibility boarders, while road maintenance cuts down on car and bus travel comfort.

In the end of the day travelling, one of the most fundamental and important parts of our society, became so complex that overall travel starts to struggle.

Either way, planing a trip turned a nightmare.

I got stuck in Tromso when the Corona Pandemic kicked off. This area shortly above the polar circle has no train or bus station, but an airport and some car rentals. I needed to leave earlier as all foreigners were asked to leave the country by the Norwegian government, but all flights back to Frankfurt were cancelled.

Renting a car would have created tremendous additional cost if leaving the car at a different rental spot and driving through Sweden was off the contract, even so way faster, because it would have ment to cross borders.

Basically, I was not able to plan a trip back at all and instead I booked an available domestic flight to Bergen getting closer south and into a town with a train station. After a night there I managed to get a train ride to Oslo. Denmark locked down all borders and no trespassing was allowed neither, but I found a bus rout to Gothenbug that had a still running truck and also passenger ferry connection to Kiel from where I jumped on a train back into Hells Kitchen.

No online system was able to provide me with that connection. It was based only and entirely on my experience and knowledge of Europe's passenger travel system, being therefore hardly anything more than educated guessing.

Most humans don't think like that and would have started panicking being stuck north crying for an authority like their embassy to get them home. 

The same mindset and character, the same skill set and attitude that keeps me an outsider in constant threat of poverty in this first world free society made me get home, but in an exceptional journey. Bergen is a beautiful and rich town I experienced in an exceptionally unusual quiet night with empty streets, the train ride goes through a pictoresk landscape of Noways south so very different from the polar circle area I spent a few weeks sleeping outside striding through the outskirts of a small town and ferry rides are always special being short but acceptable cruises.

No one that creates transport route planning systems and services thinks like me or has a mind set like me. Those lead software developers of all available transport platforms that can be found on your preferable search engine, even of MIT, would have, I take every bet, paniked being stuck calling their embassy.

Cyberpunks pull themselves out by their own hair, like an old German Baron named Münchausen that kept telling stories called full of lies by most or just beautiful imagination by some others.

If a system fails to work under stress it is bad in perfect conditions, too.

Just try to figure out how to get from "your" place in London or suburbia of London to "your" selected desired place with a defined amount of luggage, but creating the least amount of stress, the maximum amount of comfort to a reasonable price for a hopefully enriching journey to one other "your" capital city in Europe....

 Where would you go if your main distribution partner of your main quite illegal product goes in, in this world and a Cyberpunk shadow world?

Well, it needs a place that is nice and comfortable to keep affairs soft and easy having the appropriate luxurious vacation style atmosphere to meet potential new partners that have touch to the client base and are horizontally integrated in the targeted market by ideally a vertical existing and well established integration, too. Cancun and every larger than life stupid rich show off available....here.

You gotta do that shit yourself in the sprawls after the downfall, because they are in constant chaos and struggle pulled and pushed between the absence of national order, but MegCon greed interest, gangs moving, locals defending and runners up for contract cash. Your partner today will strip you tomorrow in a world that keeps spinning warp speed in the shadows of the drug tested, credit line enslaved humans tiyed in suites. Narco Army Security Commandos deep in the sprawls securing deep dark web arranged meetings with all in arms independent gangs running clubs, score houses, street sale drive through spots under the constant threat of runner hits hired by any form of competition after the downfall feeling the impact.

Today the deal is to trick the average Joes in uniform believing in their job on the hunt against substances that are asked for by many, that create high profit and will kill in the long run by abusing holes and mistakes in the system that encourages greed and conflict, by partnering with all those that successfully manage to live in between all other Joes, but promoting the same livestyle and spirit of decadence and hedonism as the producer. Playa ou Plombo.  

Hedonism is what will kill in a cyberpunk world, but also drives the adrenalin junkies into the shadows of the sprawl where a life ain't worth a lot, but will create retaliating fire up to bloodshed revenge, if taken without proper preparation and safety ensured. "Do you know who this is?" over "Do you know who I am?", because there is no order to be called and only order to be enforced by each one autonomously. Shoot and there is no need for questions.

Actually, I am pretty sure that the profit margin for most products traded in the narco business would tremendously drop if this world would go Cyberpunk considering that all and every creep would be in full arms everywhere off the shiny light, keeping only those in for the fun and sake of it....

The rich living towards a cyberpunk utopia

 Check these few stats and the headline of the Wall Street Journal:

The top is the amount of US Dollars around floating this world in paper and sweet black numbers on bank accounts, the second is the Warren Buffet's safe investment strategy index and base for Warren Buffett's favorite market indicator that has climbed to 205%, signaling that stocks are historically vastly overpriced taking the combined market capitalization of all publicly traded US stocks, divided by the latest quarterly figure for gross domestic product putting the stock price into relation to the overall economy, the third is the average wage of the US citizens and the headline shows the spending strategy of the rich: they borrow.

We have more and more money around, the stock prices are more and more off the economy based on old school theories, the average american income is growing way slower then the amount of money and stock values, while the rich buy their boy toys on credit. 

I was not able to find a statistic on wages in the luxurious industry, but it is clear that the money the FED pushes into the economy gets stuck in stocks and mainly those that sell stocks and borrow on them profit, but it does not arrive in the same almost exponential way in the wallets of the average population. 

There must be two kinds of rich: Those that trade stocks having direct access to FED money and those that take credits on a portfolio to buy most likely luxurious items fueling the luxurious industry that than again buys stocks to take credits on ....

While average Joe is of that puoerto mobile of the finance industry.

While the world of the Mega Corporations is based on credit line slavery and the poor are doomed to live on charity or small businesses selfexploiting and squeezed into a univers far off predictable law enforcement, but full of gangs and self-interest enforcing ConSecurity. In a world full in arms where contracts are enforced by violence on using post commando runner teams that cannot or just with difficulties be connected to a Corporation by a e.g. an independent shadow hacker, Media Corporation or Con Security Information Service, runners are the fittest: they are independent, in arms, trained and connected living highly flexible and mobile inbetween the poor scaring the cons that need them.

Yet some stupid would call a dark future "rule of the strong", a statement incorrect to the old wild wild west already, that never will become correct in any world based on the rules of this unverse. It is and will always be "survival of the fittest".

Bad news for all rich people of the Kardashians position, is that if the stock market should crash, not only correct, but crash, their base for the credit line is done, gone away and the banker might be not understanding that in the past the stocks all recovered again and just will take the remaining assets which is on some credit contracts even possible, although the monthly payments are covered based on a future expectations clausal, to prevent losses. Today Mexico is a Narco state, but when looking closely it is a chaotic system of pockets that interact and overlap. The Kartells will have farms as their own or enslaved, they have housing areas under their control occupied by recruits and staff or paying tribute, they will have shopping and industrial areas in the same way and they all like to party in save places where they can loos it. 

The Nation is next to those areas, right in between in the very same way.

Some live in the shadows and according to news reports they took their first grounds successfully creating new ghettos that have to deal with both parties.

A few will stride and possibly even trade in between these three parties using the fact that we humans naturally communicate and trade with each other. 

Where to go from here?

The first three have in common that they use hierarchies that are quite clear at least for those in the inside. The striders are not organised and appear to be the weakest link, because they are small in number overall and in their individual groups. That - they balance by more flexibility and mobility using contracts and favors based on better information from different sources and perspectives, yet having the most dangerous of all lifes and positions.

From the top Mexico is chaos and most only show either maps of Kartell territory or borders drawn by the nation like those of towns or counties, hardly any show in which areas new ghettos stripped of Kartell surpression and possibly even national influence from the central government that left them alone for too long even so most likely without bad intention but due to bigger fires burning elsewhere. 

The Kartells only were able to gain ground because they well understood the national hierarchy and were able to infiltrate, abuse and kill those structures to establish their own rule. National systems are competitive and if they turn from healthy competition based on fair grounds towards conflict driven rivalry based on greed officers of the state will find themselves with a quite illegal bank account, a mistress and a serious pouder addiction in a deep hole that is way more serious than a problem. It is the dark side, mate.  

It appears that the overall chaos in Mexico turns disadvantage against the Kartells that split up more and more and keep fighting each other way more than anyone from the outside ever. 

Chaos is a system you don't understand and I kept telling that my parents every time I was supposed to clean up. There is a simpel test: What do you want me to find for you here? Revenge is based on anger and hate, revenge is supposed to feed emotions. Retaliation is cold blooded pay back to get things in balance, to make sure the enemy won't try again.

20 years were spent on destroying the terror organisation that created 911 and turned grounds for the biggest strategic military expansion of any force in modern industrialised times right to the gates of the only two other super powers.

Only Europe's far east and the Chinese Sea stopped that expansion bringing us at the brink of a very different fourth world war that is actually only the third turning hot shortly before being overcome. 

Afghanistan carries the main elements of both that third and of my definition of the fourth world war. The third is a chess like position game of world war armies based on recruited soldiers using high tech military equipment and classic to guerrilla tactics plus all aspects of the upcoming fourth which are intelligence based underground and covered targeted actions way closer to table top pen and paper game cyberpunk shadow runs than guerrilla force actions. 

The U.S. leadership was well aware that this mountain area was another Korea or Vietnam and they hardly any different from the local perspective than the Sowjet Army and therefore officially never even tried nation building according to President Biden, but instead focused on destroying terrorist infrastructures that split up and staffed other terrorist groups.

Terrorism is a live style today. With Al-Quida terrorism stepped far away from FARC, ETA, IRA, UDP, RAF and all others that fought for civil rights against cold greed capitalism and jumped towards hatred against others on a Nazi level. Terrorism is a tool of fashism today that goes hand in hand with hard drug king pings. The latter is the financial connection to the western world and were to find the treaters among us. 

The historic connection is civilian secret service work fighting against another political and economic system and the very extremists on the political far right are the real winners of that part of the third world war that will dominate the upcoming fourth. Mainly the CIA used everybody available and willing to go against socialists in their war against the Sowjet system using all means from fake news called propaganda, to be understood as false information, to supporting corrupt businessmen and politicians and creating drug lords against everyone that would just criticise our own system. 

Cali businessmen over FARC farmer militias, Mexican Kartells coming from Mexico Cities Kill Squads targeting street kids over Pablo Escobar up for becoming El Presidente Sozialistico, Taliban over Mudjahedin and that's just those actions of the CIA and the American Falk think tanks deriving from slave farm owner families that can be proofen by just spending some time searching the internet.

Every organisation using clandestine means based on disguising actions using naiv and weak humans for their own egoistic reasons failed, but created nothing more than mayhem and destruction. The NSDAP reshaped the world bringing mankind close to it's end. Even so the Nazi failed to create an empire of  thousand years based on one superior race running death camps for all others secured by secret weapons they managed to put the world into a cold war constantly threating mankind with a holocaust using nuclear warheads on rockets over trains and factories for mass murder.

The Taliban so, financially based on poppy seed created heroin derivates, can live their lost minds openly in their fashist modern paradise where no one will or can use reason to question any action or argument. They'll laugh and torture or kill as a response knowing that they have plenty of legacy against secret services, enterprises, politicians and key figures of the western society selling the most addictive substances known to menkind threatening them to take em down by using the media in a way Edward Snowden or Julian Assange had no intention to do.

What do these Taliban spend their 3Billion revenue yearly on that we cannot see on TV? The cloth are cheap and the guns are from NATO.

Civilizations

Ancient Rome was referred to in all and every single of my school books as a civilisation while the people in the woodlands east and north of the Roman Empire were called primitive tribes.

Civilization is defined as the stage of human social and cultural development and organization that is considered most advanced.

Rome conquered to enslave. Rome tortured to death by crucification. Roman Emperors were killed by their sons. Roman Emperors burned down their own capital. Romans watched for fun enslaved humans kill each other. Romans watched defenseless humans get killed and eaten by captured starving animals, for fun.  

In Germany they still teach the language of that one of the worst three Empires that ruled earth right next to the Nazi and Mayans and even require it for some university degrees.

I understand why Germany, that was build up in major parts by war criminals and collaborators of the very worst Empire ever, glorify an Empire that lasted the 1000 years they wished for their Reich. 

The dominance of considering the Roman Empire civilized in also the English dominated internet is scary, so. Especially that those people that resisted successfully being overthrown and enslaved are not even granted people level, but are referred to as tribes frequently, called wild and less advanced in architecture and technology than the Romans.

Rome had at it's most likely darkest time called "peak" around a million habitants and was a parasite to all its surroundings due to the lack off technology. Even today towns like Mexico City have trouble with using too many resources and drying out the surrounding rural farmland areas. 

It did not make any sense, it was not helpful at all, it was not useful for a free society to create huge towns that required to cut down large areas of forest, that would create massive waste management and clean water supply problems.

A society that takes slaves will not live in harmony with the given natural resources and create intrigue and finally murder. So did Rome.

Corona and life

Delta is rising, Lambda still on its way and another Variant on the check points in the UK and USA. The UN lead WHO epidemiologist and COVID-19 technical lead, Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove sais that Virus are not alive and I wonder how she got into a major position within the World Health Organisation having a doubtful definition of life.

NASA is searching for life in space and first for not intelligent life. Dr. Google sais that NASA defined life broadly as "A self-sustaining chemical system capable of Darwinian evolution." 

This means that being a live means to fit into its surroundings, to adjust and change, to progress and develop.

I don't think that someone not understanding the very biological and chemical basis of life on a philosophical level is capable of filling an important position such as lead in the WHO.

Corona is quite alive taking the NASA definition as the basis on defining life or alive. 

Our society puts against Corona humans like Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove on the line and that gives me confidence that we won't win the war against Corona. A war I don't even would take on, if I had to. For me it is easier to keep pretending I am as stupid as my low level no education carrier looser CV shows so impressively to all those in credit riding that luxurious car into the prestigious double garage in the outskirts of town in fast fashion up to date textiles, while I walk.

Chess Vs Go Vs Pen'n'Paper

There are entire schools of Chess theories out there, from a strong Pawn Wall controlled game towards Knights with Bishops intercepting to a Rook and Queen game including different times to go for the Chess Mate knowingly sacrificing other figures preparing the final strike to victory while in Go the victory is often seen only when counting points after the last stone was placed.

Those using arms to break free are either part of pop colture or a history book today. The Punk in Cyberpunk remains an utopia instead the society turned real already at least in the Lebanon it appears.

From that high riser or within the walls life might look even more shiny, but that's the drugs, mate and you'd better start finding God praying that a Cyberpunk or Brutus will kill you instead of a long term disease like cancer. Unfortunately, the Cyberpunk is still just an utopia, but hopefully already a reason to make you scared of falling a sleep. The song fits perfectly to Miami Vice, because for Sunny all that Bling Bling and expensive gear are just tools and than she finds something through him that also lifts his cover, something all in that trade snore away, something Sunny and Tabs take out and kill for.

All Gangsters, Rockers, Nazis and Smiths I ever met had one thing in common: Love scares the shit out of them. They made a decision to deny it and snore or push it away using narcotics. The Vampires

Dark Future is in some places quite real. In Mexico Kartells rule and turned life into a dysantrop nightmare for most humans, based on money acquired from high societies and wannabes greed on getting high on powder, the modern white gold.

All groups in the business as merchants and most likely the transporters, too are organisations based on conflict societies. They interact like rats and it makes a lot of sense that some of these groups consider "dog" a bad word, knowing that wild dogs eat rats even so I am sure those abusing humans best friend that helped us to become humans are not really understanding what they are saying there.

In Shadowrun I would turn them into Vampire non-player characters, because they are literally sucking the blood of our society as soon they got a grip. 

In the Movie Blade the Vampire society has an elite force of Vampire soldiers that at one point hooks up with Blade the Daywalker and knight like figure of the series. 

In real live conspiracy theories of a dark society a conspiracy to rule us all are again very popular and most likely they have some real core. True is that during cold war secret service activity exploded and all of them on all sides got their hands quite dirty, managed to get into pretty illegal activity and most needs quite some digging to be put off the conspiracy? onto the seriously? list.

It does make sense to wonder if the Mexican Kartells are controlled by a more hidden force. In Brazil the quarters of the poor are now being taking over by Militias and off the hands of gangs. This might be an improvement from really bad to still bad. Gangs tend to be a lot less organised and recruit junkies with a very short live span, while Militias are per definition structured and organised making them more predictable. Being poor and also under threat a tiny bit of change like more predictability is an improvement. In Mexico there are only Kartells facing as an enemy only underpaid state forces and while the CIA put pressure against the Columbian Cartells with even forces on the ground the Mexican Kartells are spinning out of control. 

Are they really? And this is where the conspiracy theories start, because of a lack of adequate information available. There are reports about the Militias taking over Brazil and understanding who creates those it makes sense that they don't see any difference to drug gangs. It is journalists that back home in posh hip Berlin or London occasionally have a snore on the Toilette with gear that they got from someone understanding even less what Gang live really is, but that is for sure way of any Militia. 

No way that these fellas from universities, considering a line here or there take any responsibility for a hundred dead Mexicans and Brazil Militias finding happy taxpayers for predictability and quietness in return, will manage to get into those parts of the Mexican Kartell structures that are connected with Secret Service or Secret Societies. The "Secret" part is there for a reason.

At least one of the Kartells in Mexico was founded by an ex-elite unit soldier and pictures of Kartell soldiers equipped with .50 Cal sniper rifles are easily found. 

There is an uncomfortable and sadly not that unlikely chance that a less known Kartell has a superior force like the Vampire Elite Soldiers in the Blade movie that takes control by Delta Force style actions and diplomatic threats taking taxes, while knight like figures as Blade are purely fictional in the real world.
